While temperatures are pending from -5 to -15°C since a bit more than two weeks by now, I can’t stop thinking about the next trip to southern Spain and another thrilling (topwater) adventure up in the hills of Córdoba.
Embalse de San Rafael de Navallana – April, 2009
Countdown, T-86 days!
For now there’s a 10-day trip scheduled for early April (pre-spawn, I already feel your tempting breath down my neck), and I just booked a flight to the south-andalucian coast.
Within the last two years, the relatively warm days around the end of March and early April turned out to be the most interesting and thrilling period in terms of bass fishing. During my last four trips to Córdoba since May 2008, I got to know a bunch of nice waters in a truly beautiful scenery and I’m really looking forward to discover new interesting spots.
Currently I’m looking for a lightweight and versatile watercraft, so that I could reach even the most inaccessible cover and promising spots during the forthcoming trip. More details about the ongoing research to come soon…
PS: Can’t wait to go!
