Yesterday I got a kind email from Taizo Shimazaki of HandSome Lures, confirming that he sent out three of his “sons” to Berlin. I quite like the metaphor he used in his blog post and I already promised to take care of his offsprings.
In about 53 days they will make a first fishing trip to the sunny south of Andalusia (Spain) and I’m optimistic to provide you with regularly updates and pictures during the two week kayak trip. Fortunately the apartment at Embalse del Gudalhorce has a WIFI hotspot, so it’s down to my commitment to post pictures and videos.
Besides that, there’s not much happening over here in Berlin. Except of some sparse, yet interesting Facebook conversations with like-minded heads over there in Japan. It’s kind of surprising how many Japanese people are popping up on Facebook recently.
Even if communication is tough, because of language barriers – I’m happy to get in touch and to exchange information with more and more people from Japan’s Topwater Scene. It’s quite interesting to learn more about the origins and cultural background of Japanese Surface Game.
Have yourselves a good and not all too dragging Thursday. More soon.
